Italy sees two separate violent crimes: attempted stabbing in San Salvo and armed robbery in Milan

In San Salvo, a 30‑year‑old woman was arrested after she entered her former partner's home, slapped him, and attempted to stab him with a kitchen knife. The victim escaped to a hallway and called emergency services; a bystander was also injured. Police seized the knife and placed the woman in custody pending investigation.

In Milan, a man armed with a pistol seized two women in a car, forced them to travel from Bresso to Milan and attempted to compel them to withdraw cash from ATMs. The women were unable to complete the withdrawals, and one escaped to a gelateria where she sought help. The assailant fled on foot. The victims received medical treatment and the case is being investigated for kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
