Italy's INPS Announces August pension dates and July Assegno Unico schedule

The National Institute of Social Security (INPS) will process August 2026 pension payments on two dates: Saturday 1 August for beneficiaries receiving funds via Poste Italiane (including PostePay Evolution) and Monday 3 August for bank‑account credits. A 5 % withholding will be applied to August and September pensions for recipients who have not submitted the RED 2023 income declaration for 2022, with a deadline to regularise the situation by 15 September 2026; failure to do so may lead to full revocation of the benefit.

The July 2026 Assegno Unico will be credited on 20‑21 July for families whose applications are unchanged. Households that submitted a new ISEE or reported family‑composition changes will receive their payment in the last week of July, and may also obtain arrears dating back to March if the ISEE was updated before 30 June 2026. The allowance has been revalued by 1.4 % and now ranges from €58.30 per child (no ISEE) to €203.80 per child (ISEE up to €17 468.51). Additional INPS benefits such as the inclusion allowance and NASpI have their own schedules in August.
