Italy to fund Rozzano youth projects via Caivano-bis Decree
The Italian government is investing in the redevelopment of the Sant’Angelo Oratory in Rozzano to combat youth social distress. As part of the Meloni administration’s Caivano-bis Decree, a 22 million euro plan coordinated by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers will fund various initiatives in the area.
During a visit by a parliamentary commission of inquiry on peripheries, Deputy Fabio Raimondo highlighted the “Rozzano Model,” which emphasizes collaboration between local institutions and educational entities. A key component of this approach is the “Un gancio da Dio” boxing project led by Don Luigi Scarlino, which uses sports to provide educational opportunities and alternatives to street crime for local youth.
