Italy to host major green building forums in 2026

Two major green building events are scheduled for October 2026 in Italy, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and the ecological transition within the construction sector.

In Rome, GBC Italia will host the Green Building Forum on October 28 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. The forum aims to connect businesses, institutions, and research entities to discuss the competitiveness of the built environment. Key discussion areas include energy, industry, urban regeneration, accessibility, and infrastructure development.

In Mestre, the third edition of the Green Building Conference & Expo 2026 will take place on October 22 and 23 at the M9 – Museo del ‘900. Promoted by the Venetian Green Building Cluster (VeGBC), the event will feature 12 sessions covering topics such as the construction market following the PNRR, artificial intelligence, robotics, and energy efficiency. The conference will also address economic perspectives, new investment models, and the professional training required to meet technological evolutions.
