Italy to provide new Ukraine aid package by year-end

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has announced that Italy intends to provide another aid package to Ukraine by the end of the year. This follows 12 previous aid packages provided by the country.

Crosetto criticized the decision by Donald Trump to restrict Ukraine's access to satellite systems and intelligence information, describing it as a “complete and grave error” that fails to contribute to peace. He argued that depriving Ukraine of resources creates weakness that may encourage Russian President Vladimir Putin to continue the war.

Crosetto stated that Italy's military support will continue for as long as the current Meloni administration remains in office, though he noted that securing parliamentary approval for future supplies may become more difficult as elections approach.
