Italy: Two men reported for carrying baseball bats in vehicles

Carabinieri officers in Italy have reported two separate incidents involving individuals found transporting baseball bats in their vehicles.

In Pavia, a 59-year-old man was reported after police discovered a 50-centimeter wooden baseball bat hidden under the driver's seat during a nighttime road check. The driver reportedly appeared nervous, prompting a more thorough search. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Pavia.

In Senigallia, a 20-year-old man was reported for the illegal possession of weapons or objects intended to cause offense after an aluminum baseball bat, measuring 79 centimeters, was found in his car's trunk. The incident occurred during a nighttime patrol near a railway station. The object was seized, and the individual was released to the judicial authorities.
