Italy won the gold medal in the mixed relay team time trial at the 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montreal. The winning Italian squad, consisting of Filippo Ganna, Mattia Cattaneo, Matteo Sobrero, Vittoria Guazzini, Elisa Longo Borghini, and Monica Trinca Colonel, completed the 40.6 km course in 51:32.28. They finished 8.63 seconds ahead of France, who took silver, and 19.86 seconds ahead of Switzerland, who took bronze.

For Elisa Longo Borghini, the victory marked her first career rainbow jersey. The event was a significant milestone for the Italian team, securing their first gold in this specific discipline since its introduction. Other notable results from the championships include Nicolas Milesi earning a silver medal in the Under 23 individual time trial.
