INPS opens applications for 2026 'Bonus Mamme' for working mothers
The INPS has announced the activation of the 'Bonus Mamme 2026' procedure, a financial support measure for working mothers introduced by the 2026 Budget Law. The benefit provides 60 euros per month for each month of employment, up to a maximum of 720 euros annually.
To qualify, mothers must have at least two children, with the youngest being under 10 years old, or three or more children, with the youngest under 18. Additionally, annual income from employment or self-employment must not exceed 40,000 euros. The benefit applies to both employees and self-employed workers.
Applications must be submitted online via the INPS portal using digital identity tools such as SPID, CIE, or CNS. The standard deadline for applications is December 31, 2026, though those meeting requirements in December have until January 31, 2027. The payment is typically issued in a single installment in December 2026 for timely applicants.
In separate news, Tommaso Mazzanti, founder of All’Antico Vinaio, announced a 600-euro extraordinary contribution for his employees, distributed in three 200-euro installments, to help combat the rising cost of living.
