Italy youth national teams compete in international tournaments in Croatia

Italy's youth national teams are competing in international tournaments in Croatia. The Under 19 squad, coached by Massimiliano Favo, secured a 2-1 victory against France in their opening match with goals from Simone Lontani and Leonardo Noah Bovio. Despite receiving a red card in the 60th minute, the team managed to maintain their lead. Their next scheduled match is against Turkey.

Simultaneously, the Under 17 team, led by Manuel Pasqual, participated in the Istria Youth Cup. In their opening fixture against Turkey, the squad played to a 3-3 draw. Pasqual noted that while the team showed physical resilience and scoring ability, they need to improve ball management and decision-making. The Under 17s are grouped in Group A alongside Turkey, South Korea, and Ukraine.
