Italy's 2026 Local Festivals Boost Community and Craft
The 2026 edition of the SAGRA di San Basilio in Roncaglia concluded on 14 June, serving 4 500 meals over ten evenings, including thousands of portions of fries, polenta, grilled chicken and fish. Organisers thanked volunteers, sponsors, schools, municipal authorities and suppliers for the event’s success.
In Camporosso, the three‑day “LÀ C’È BIRRA!” festival attracted thousands of visitors, showcasing independent craft breweries, quality street food, live music and DJ sets. Regional officials and local business leaders highlighted the event’s cultural, economic and tourism value for the Ligurian coast.
Both festivals emphasized community participation, promotion of local gastronomy and the role of public‑private collaboration in strengthening regional identity.
