Italy's 2026 Summer Dance Festivals Launch in Ceva and Rome

The fifth edition of the "Insoliti Sipari" festival in Ceva began with a sold‑out opening on 9 July, featuring dancers from Milan’s Teatro alla Scala and a flamenco troupe. The program continues with a Youth Talent evening on 15 July and the internationally acclaimed contemporary work "Graces" by Silvia Gribaudi on 16 July, concluding on 23 July with MM Contemporary Dance Company’s tribute to Pink Floyd. Tickets cost €20 for 200 seats, with a rain‑plan venue change to the Teatro Marenco.

From 27 August to 25 October, the fifth "Dancescreen in the Land" festival will travel across Bracciano, the Appian Way Archaeological Park and Rome. Titled "Respiro al Centro," the edition links dance to landscape and heritage through workshops, artist residencies and public performances. Highlights include an immersive "Creation in the Land" workshop led by members of the Hofesh Shechter Company, a residency by choreographer Filippo Buonamassa, and stage pieces ranging from contemporary to urban dance interpretations of cultural icons.
