Italy's August cultural events: Trieste documentary tribute and Genoa Lilith Festival concert

On 10 August, the Energia dei Luoghi – Festival del Vento e della Pietra presented the documentary film “Al di là dei lupi” in Trieste’s Slovene Cultural Circle. The film, produced in 2023 by Patchwork_Film and co‑produced by Casa della Musica, honors the late composer Alfredo Lacosegliaz (1953‑2016) and includes interviews with musicians, directors and writers. Director Ennio Guerrato and producer Cristina Gioachin Lacosegliaz attended the screening.

Two days earlier, on 8 August, the Lilith Festival of Authorial Music concluded its 15th edition at Villa Durazzo‑Bombrini in Genoa. The final concert featured Swedish composer, pianist and organist Anna von Hausswolff, known for her experimental blend of contemporary, electronic and drone music. The performance was highlighted as a major cultural moment of the Genoese summer season.
