Italy's digital terrestrial TV adds Gold Invest TV, drops Channel 24

Italy’s transition to the DVB‑T2 digital terrestrial platform continues with a reshuffle of free‑to‑air channels. The long‑running Channel 24, previously on LCN 130, 204 and 232, has been removed from the main multiplex and will only appear on secondary numbers or during brief information slots. In its place, Gold Invest TV, also owned by the Sciscione‑Gold TV group, has launched on LCN 130, offering finance‑focused programming and commercial content.

At the same time, a new national channel has begun broadcasting across the country on the digital terrestrial network. While its exact logical channel number, video format and regional coverage are still being confirmed, the service promises a mix of light information, entertainment, films and series aimed at a general audience. Viewers are advised to run an automatic channel scan via their TV or decoder settings to receive the updates.

These adjustments expand the free‑to‑air offering and require Italian households using aerial antennas to rescan their channel lists.
