Italy's Lecce and La Spezia regions report over 400 new job openings
The weekly employment report from Arpal Puglia shows 301 vacant positions in the province of Lecce. The construction and plant‑installation sector leads with 86 openings, followed by tourism, restaurant and food‑delivery (55), commerce (33) and several other fields such as administration, IT, wood industry, health, telecoms and textiles. The report also lists 10 positions reserved for people with disabilities and 11 for other protected categories, plus ten traineeships and opportunities abroad via the EURES network.
In the neighboring region of Liguria, the public employment centres of La Spezia and Sarzana posted 118 new vacancies for the week. The listings include 10 excavator operators, 10 wire‑rope workers, 10 drivers with a C licence, as well as jobs in construction, shipbuilding, tourism, transport and retail. Contracts range from temporary to permanent and include apprenticeship schemes. Applicants are advised to submit updated CVs, with guidance on the Europass format, and can apply online or by email.
