Riccione to Host 2026 Estathé 3×3 Italy Finals

The Estathé® 3×3 Italia Streetbasket Circuit announced its season‑ending event in Riccione on 1 August 2026. The tour, launched on 30 May in Alba (CN), travelled through 19 Italian regions and staged more than 130 tournaments, split between an Elite (Master and Top) and a Classic circuit. Sixteen men’s and twelve women’s teams will compete for the Open 2026 titles, with the men’s champion earning a berth at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour stop in Macau (17‑18 October). The finals also host senior and youth categories (U14, U16, U18) for both genders, underscoring the growing inclusivity of 3×3 basketball.

The event is sponsored by the Comune di Riccione and backed by the Regione Emilia‑Romagna as part of its sport‑tourism strategy. Officials at the presentation included Fabrizio Gavelli, President and CEO of Ferrero Commerciale Italia; Roberta Frisoni, Regional Assessor for Tourism, Commerce and Sport; Simone Imola, Riccione’s Sports Assessor; Maurizio Bertea, Secretary‑General of the Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro; and Antonio Santa Maria, General Director of Master Group Sport. Frisoni said, “Accogliere a Riccione le Estathé® 3×3 Italia Finals – significa ospitare uno dei più importanti appuntamenti nazionali dedicati a una disciplina che negli ultimi anni ha conquistato un pubblico sempre più ampio.”

Youth finals saw Marche teams finish fourth in the U16 category, highlighting the event’s role in showcasing emerging talent.
