At the same time, the Chamber of Deputies is debating a new electoral law that would exempt parties with a parliamentary group formed by 31 December 2025 from collecting signatures for ballot access. The provision favours the centre‑right party Action and excludes newer formations such as Futuro Nazionale, prompting criticism from opposition members.
