Monaco hosts historic first state visit from Italian President

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco hosted Italian President Sergio Mattarella and his daughter, Laura Mattarella, for a historic state visit. This event marked the first time an Italian Head of State has officially visited the Principality.

The visit included military honors at the Palace of the Princes, a private audience between the two leaders, and a gala dinner. During the festivities, Princess Charlene and Princess Caroline were noted for their formal attire at the official functions.

Separately, Monaco reached a demographic milestone as the birth of a child named Anna brought the Monégasque national population to 10,000. Additionally, the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation donated €610,000 to the Prince Albert II Foundation to support Mediterranean marine life.
