Italy's Summer Comedy and Theatre Programs Launch in Rome and Palermo

The Nuovo Sala Gassman in Rome opens its summer "Approdi" programme with a comedy by Patrizio De Paolis titled “La crisi del settimo piano” on 5 August, followed by Simone Luciani’s adaptation of the final episode of the Aeneid, “Enea – Il figlio del Fato”, and a water‑concert featuring Maestro Carlo Zannetti.

Meanwhile, the Teatro Agricantus in Palermo runs the second edition of its “Summer Stand‑up Comedy” series from 6 to 9 August. The lineup includes surrealist monologuist Francesco Gottuso, the duo Alessio Lupo and Orlando Contreras presenting “Sicileni”, and Simone Riccobono with “Faccio di testa mia”. Both events aim to showcase new voices in Italian comedy and theatre during the summer season.
