Italy's Youth Dance Teams Shine at Dublin's Dance World Cup 2026

The CMS Academy Teenager troupe earned a gold medal at the Italian national qualifiers and will represent Italy at the Dance World Cup 2026 in Dublin. Their trip was funded through a GoFundMe campaign that covered travel and accommodation for the young performers, allowing them to compete in the Junior Dance and Song category among more than 500 entries.

Meanwhile, the Dance Project from Rieti secured a bronze medal in the Junior Solo Street Dance 1 category, placing third out of 40 finalists with a score of 86.4. The achievement adds to earlier Italian successes at the event, including silver medals and top‑ten finishes, and was supported by the Fondazione Varrone.

Both groups are part of a broader Italian presence at the competition, highlighting the country's strength in youth dance and musical theatre on the international stage.
