Itanhaém: Father and son uninjured after tree falls on car

A father and his young son escaped uninjured on Saturday afternoon after a tree fell on their parked car in central Itanhaém, on the coast of São Paulo.

The incident occurred around 2:52 p.m. on Rua João Mariano. Although the weight of the trunk and branches caused significant damage to the vehicle, the man and his child, approximately three to four years old, were able to exit the car without injuries.

The Fire Department deployed two vehicles and five firefighters to cut through the tree and remove debris from the vehicle. The rescue operation was supported by the Municipal Civil Guard, Neoenergia, Civil Defense, and the local traffic department.
