Itapevi offers free refrigerator replacements via Enel program

The City of Itapevi, in partnership with Enel Brasil, is launching the ‘Enel Compartilha Eficiência’ program. This initiative, regulated by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), offers the free replacement of old refrigerators with new, more efficient models to reduce energy consumption.

Registration for the program takes place on September 16 and 17 at the Ginásio de Esportes in Parque Suburbano. To qualify, residents must be Enel customers in good standing with an average monthly consumption of up to 250 kWh over the last 12 months. Additionally, participants must not have benefited from a similar exchange in the last ten years, and the refrigerator being replaced must be at least 10 years old and in working condition.

Selected participants will be announced on September 21. The replacement process will occur at a later date following the selection.
