Itaquiraí poultry plant regularizes apprenticeship quotas

An avian slaughterhouse in Itaquiraí, Mato Grosso do Sul, has regularized its professional apprenticeship quotas following intervention by the Public Labor Ministry (MPT-MS) and labor inspectors.

After an investigation identified a deficit of 71 positions, the company increased its number of apprentices from 32 to 127. This total exceeds the legal minimum requirement of 103 apprentices. The enforcement action began following a civil inquiry initiated in March, triggered by a labor inspection violation notice regarding the failure to meet mandatory apprenticeship quotas.
