India road accidents claim multiple lives in UP and Chhattisgarh

Multiple fatal road accidents have been reported across several Indian states. In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, an ITBP DIG, Parminder Singh, and his driver, Ramsharan, died after their vehicle struck a divider on the Dehradun-Panchkula National Highway and collided with an oncoming car. Four others were injured in the crash.

In Uttar Pradesh, two separate incidents occurred: a speeding dumper struck five people standing by the roadside in Mathura, killing a six-year-old girl and one man, while an uncontrolled car overturned in Hathras, resulting in three deaths and four injuries.

In Chhattisgarh, a collision between a motorcycle and a car on a national highway near Bemetara resulted in one death and left three others, including a five-year-old child, injured. Police are investigating the causes of these accidents, citing speeding and negligence as potential factors.
