ITBP Director General visits Sikkim border outposts

ITBP Director General Shatrujeet Kapoor visited forward border outposts (BOPs) of the 11th and 48th battalions in Sikkim, located at altitudes of up to 17,000 feet. During the visit, he reviewed operational readiness and held interactions with personnel through soldier conferences to boost morale.

Prior to the Sikkim visit, the Director General inspected the 13th battalion and other forward locations on Monday, where he also met with Indian Army officers.

In conjunction with the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, various ITBP battalions have organized rallies and patriotic programs. These include activities by the 15th battalion in Udhampur, the 35th battalion in Uttarkashi, and the 54th battalion at the Bhalkupong campus, involving students and NCC cadets in singing national songs to promote national unity.
