ITC Mangaldeep launches Braille path initiative for visually impaired devotees in Ayodhya
ITC Mangaldeep has launched the ‘Har Bhakt Shri Ram Tak’ digital campaign to fund and construct a Braille-based tactile path at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The initiative aims to enable visually impaired devotees to navigate the temple premises independently and access darshan without obstacles.
The campaign utilizes contour detection technology and a digital platform where participants can contribute by writing ‘Ram’ in their native language. As a symbolic gesture for each online contribution, a lamp will be lit on the banks of the Sarayu River during the Deepotsav festival. Rohit Dogra, Divisional CEO of ITC’s matches and agarbatti division, stated that the goal is to ensure the experience of divine darshan is equal for everyone, including those with visual impairments.
