ITC Tennis School to host free parent-child tennis sessions

ITC Tennis School, an operator of tennis facilities primarily in the Kansai region of Japan, has announced its annual ‘Nakayoshi Oyako Tennis’ free trial event. The program is designed to encourage physical activity and family communication through tennis.

Scheduled to take place between October 24 and November 29, the sessions will be held sequentially at various school locations. The program utilizes the International Tennis Federation (ITF) recommended ‘PLAY+STAY’ method, which employs mini-nets and soft balls to make rallies easier and more engaging for beginners and young children.

Participants can access free racket rentals, and the sessions include activities such as learning grip techniques, mini-rallies, and target games. The initiative aims to provide a stress-relieving environment for families to connect through sport.
