itel launches A300C rugged budget smartphone in India

itel has officially launched the A300C, a budget-friendly and rugged smartphone, in the Indian market. Priced at approximately Rs 10,999, the device is designed for value-seeking consumers, combining durability with long battery life.

The smartphone features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7100 chipset, paired with 4GB of physical RAM (expandable via virtual memory up to 12GB) and 64GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Key specifications include a 6,000mAh battery supporting 18W charging via USB Type-C, an 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 16 (Go Edition) and holds MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for durability. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an infrared remote control, and a 3.5mm audio jack with DTS sound enhancement.
