ITESA opens registration for Semestre Cero academic program

The Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Oriente del Estado de Hidalgo (ITESA) has opened registration for its “Semestre Cero” program. Designed for upper secondary education students, the initiative aims to strengthen academic skills and reduce learning gaps before students enter professional degree programs.

The program offers two distinct preparation tracks: one for engineering aspirants focusing on basic sciences and technical skills, and another for undergraduate degree aspirants focusing on formative areas and academic competencies. The course will be held in person on Saturdays from January 23 to June 5, 2027.

Participants will receive knowledge reinforcement, personalized vocational guidance, and access to the ITESA Virtual Library. Additionally, starting in October, the institution will launch “Miércoles en ITESA,” allowing students and families to visit facilities, laboratories, and workshops to learn about admission processes and educational offerings.
