ITLA partners with IDB Group to launch 15,000 digital scholarships

The Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas (ITLA) is collaborating with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group and the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) to implement the Talent Up initiative.

This regional program, supported by Google Cloud and Cisco Networking Academy, aims to provide 15,000 free scholarships for digital skills training. The MICM will serve as the technical secretariat in the Dominican Republic, coordinating efforts between the public sector, private companies, and academic institutions to align technical training with the needs of the national digital economy.
