ITLA signs strategic agreements for cybersecurity and digital transformation
The Instituto Tecnológico de Las Américas (ITLA) has entered into two strategic cooperation agreements in the Dominican Republic to advance technological development and cybersecurity.
Through an agreement with the Tribunal Superior Electoral (TSE), ITLA will collaborate on digital transformation, institutional capacity building, and specialized training. The TSE will provide legal guidance on electoral processes and civil registry services to ITLA staff, while the institute supports the court's technological and research initiatives.
Additionally, ITLA has partnered with Fortinet to strengthen the national cybersecurity ecosystem. This collaboration focuses on knowledge exchange, international best practices, and the development of a high-tech laboratory featuring Fortinet's solutions. The initiative aims to enhance the professional opportunities of Dominican youth by preparing them for international remote work markets and improving local economic competitiveness.
