Itochu Techno-Solutions launches AI assessment service and begins Showa Note ERP project

Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation (CTC) has announced two major business initiatives involving digital transformation and system modernization.

First, CTC launched ‘CTC-AINAVI’, an assessment service designed to help companies visualize the priority and return on investment (ROI) for AI implementation. By analyzing customer inquiry data (Voice of Customer) and interaction histories, the service identifies tasks suitable for automation and helps create phased introduction plans for AI operators. The service is particularly aimed at sectors with high customer contact, such as finance, telecommunications, and retail.

Second, CTC has commenced a core system renewal project for Showa Note Co., Ltd. The project involves migrating to ‘SAP Cloud ERP (Public Edition)’ to replace aging legacy systems. The goal is to standardize business processes across production, sales, purchasing, warehouse, and accounting functions. To maintain flexibility, the project utilizes the ‘clean core’ approach and SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for integration. A key component includes custom development to manage specialized rights and licenses for character collaborations, which are vital to Showa Note’s business. The new system is targeted for full operation by June 2027.
