San Benedetto hosts ITS Marche Week vocational training tour

The “NEXT IN – ITS Marche Week” tour arrived in San Benedetto del Tronto at Piazzale Caduti del Mare to showcase high-level post-diploma specialization opportunities. The event, organized by the four ITS Academy Foundations of the Marche region, aims to connect students with technical training paths designed in collaboration with businesses.

Over 300 high school students participated in sessions held under a geodesic dome featuring immersive classrooms and interactive stations. These activities allowed students to test cutting-edge technologies and learn about specialized fields such as ICT, software development, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

Local officials, including Mayor Nicola Mozzoni, emphasized that these academies serve as a bridge between schools and the labor market, helping to develop the “super-technicians” required by modern industry. The regional educational offering covers ten technological areas through two-year programs involving approximately 1,800 hours of lessons, laboratories, and internships.
