‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ Announces Season 18 Premiere on Aug 17

The long‑running comedy series ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ will return for its 18th season on Monday, August 17 at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes will air on FX, FXX and Hulu in the United States and will be available internationally via Disney+.

Season 18 expands to a 10‑episode run, up from the eight‑episode formats of the previous three seasons. The official synopsis describes the gang tackling inheritance disputes, tent encampments, workplace automation, neurodivergence, conspiracy theories and a range of outlandish scenarios, with promised celebrity cameo appearances.

The season continues the show’s record as the longest‑running live‑action sitcom in U.S. television history. Executive producers include series creator Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton and Danny DeVito, alongside the regular production team at FX Productions.
