Jasa Marga Rolls Out Rest‑Area Upgrade Standard and Closes Tomang Tollgate for Reconstruction

On 21–24 July 2026, Jasa Marga chief executive Rivan A. Purwantono and BP BUMN COO Dony Oskaria inspected the transformation of Travoy Rest areas at KM 88A and 88B on the Cipularang toll. The plan is to convert 26 of the 62 rest areas into Travoy Rest hubs that meet higher standards of cleanliness, green design, expanded parking, EV charging stations, upgraded toilets, curated local cuisine and waste‑water treatment. The new benchmark will be applied to other rest‑area operators, with non‑compliant sites facing possible access restrictions.

Starting 24 July 2026, Jasa Marga will temporarily close the Tomang tollgate and Ramp B of the Simpang Susun Tomang interchange for pavement reconstruction. Work will be carried out each weekend until 9 August, with traffic rerouted via alternative exits (Slipi 2 for Cawang, Jelambar 1 for Soekarno‑Hatta). The shutdown aims to meet minimum service standards and maintain safety on the high‑traffic inner‑city corridor.
