IT'SUGAR closes Ocean City Boardwalk location after 10 years

The specialty candy chain IT'SUGAR has permanently closed its location at 952 Boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey. The closure marks the end of a ten-year tenure for the shop, which first opened in May 2016.

Evidence of a permanent closure includes “for lease” signs in the windows, the removal of the location from the company’s official website, and a Google listing marked as “permanently closed.” Observations of the storefront showed empty shelves and the removal of fixtures.

Founded in 2006 by Jeff Rubin, IT'SUGAR distinguished itself from traditional local shops like Steel's, Shriver's, and Fralinger's through its oversized products and unique branding.
