İttihadul Ulema holds 11th Scholars Meeting in Diyarbakır

The 11th Alimler Buluşması (Scholars Meeting), organized by the Union of Scholars and Madrasas (İttihadul Ulema), took place in Diyarbakır on October 10-11. Under the theme “Methods of Invitation and New Searches,” the event brought together scholars, academics, and opinion leaders from various Islamic regions and linguistic backgrounds.

Participants emphasized the importance of religious leadership and unity in addressing contemporary challenges. Discussions focused on strengthening Islamic outreach, fostering brotherhood among different sects, and addressing the needs of the youth and families. Attendees noted that the gathering provided a platform for scholars to propose realistic solutions to regional issues and to promote a sense of hope for the Muslim community.

During the sessions, speakers addressed humanitarian and political concerns, including the situation in Gaza and the ongoing suffering in Syria. Sheikh Mahmud Hamade highlighted the hardships faced by people in Syria, expressing hope that current struggles would eventually lead to stability and justice.
