ITTS E. Divini leads regional environmental education network

The ITTS ‘E. Divini’ in San Severino Marche has been appointed as the lead institution for a territorial school network focused on environmental education and sustainable development. This role was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Unione Montana Potenza Esino Musone.

The initiative, titled ‘Insieme per la valorizzazione del territorio’ (Together for the valorization of the territory), aims to establish a stable collaboration between schools, local institutions, and the community to promote responsible environmental practices. Under the agreement, the Divini institute will manage technical and organizational coordination, while the Unione Montana and participating municipalities will align the project with local environmental policies.

The project is part of the international Eco-Schools program promoted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). During the signing ceremony, Claudio Mazza, president of FEE Italia, presented the institute with the ‘Bandiera Verde’ (Green Flag), a recognition awarded to schools demonstrating significant commitment to sustainability and ecological practices.
