Ituzaingó community proposes tribute to Indio Solari

Residents and community organizations in Ituzaingó have proposed a collective tribute to musician Carlos Alberto “Indio” Solari. During the II Community Forum held at the Deliberative Council, various projects were presented to honor the former leader of Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota.

Proposed initiatives include the creation of community murals inspired by his music, such as those featuring lyrics from the song “Vencedores vencidos.” The forum also suggested cultural, educational, and productive activities, including job training and artistic production workshops aimed at connecting different generations of fans. While a declaration of recognition was drafted, the specific execution schedule and formal approval by the executive branch have not yet been confirmed.
