ITV is implementing several programming changes to its schedule due to UEFA Nations League football coverage. The broadcast of the Scotland versus Switzerland match will disrupt the usual time slots for the soap operas Emmerdale and Coronation Street, resulting in fans missing one episode of each show next week.

Additionally, the singing competition The Voice UK has been pulled from its Saturday evening slot on September 26 to make room for the England versus Spain match. This delay means viewers will wait an extra week for the next round of Blind Auditions.

The broadcaster is also facing backlash regarding lineup changes for The Voice UK. Following the departure of longtime coach Sir Tom Jones, a Change.org petition calling for his reinstatement has gathered over 63,000 signatures. Sir Tom Jones indicated he was not satisfied with alternative offers from the network, while ITV confirmed that coaches Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, along with presenter Emma Willis, will also be departing the series.
