ITV commissions Big Brother reunion special following ratings surge

ITV has commissioned a 60-minute reunion special, ‘Big Brother: The Reunion’, scheduled to air on ITV2 and ITVX on Friday, November 6. The special will feature the cast from the current series, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, as they revisit the friendships, conflicts, and defining moments experienced within the Big Brother house.

The announcement follows a significant increase in viewership and streaming engagement for the franchise. The Big Brother brand has recorded 202 million streams on ITVX, with the current series alone surpassing 37 million streams—a 58% increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the series has seen a 68% rise in viewership among the 16-34 demographic.
