ITZY member Yuna hospitalized, skips Shenzhen fan‑sign event

Yuna, a vocalist of the K‑pop girl group ITZY, was admitted to hospital after developing a high fever and being diagnosed with inflammation. JYP Entertainment announced that a specialist recommended hospitalization and confirmed she will miss the group’s offline fan‑sign events in Shenzhen, China, scheduled for August 1‑2. The remaining four members—Yeji, Lia, Ryujin and Chaeryeong—will attend as planned. JYP emphasized that the artist’s health is the top priority and that she will receive treatment and recovery time.

The fan‑sign event is part of the promotion for ITZY’s mini‑album “Motto,” and the group is currently on its third world tour, “TUNNEL VISION.”
