ITZY's Yeji addresses grandmother's passing during Amsterdam concert

ITZY member Yeji addressed the recent passing of her grandmother during the group’s “TUNNEL VISION” world tour concert in Amsterdam on September 13. JYP Entertainment previously announced that Yeji would miss certain scheduled activities, including the VIP soundcheck, Hi-Bye, and Send-Off events, due to the bereavement.

During the main performance, Yeji spoke to fans about the loss, noting that her grandmother passed away earlier that morning. She expressed that while she initially struggled with the courage to take the stage, the support from her fans and fellow group members gave her the strength to continue. Yeji stated, “I believe she would support and respect the decision I made,” and expressed her gratitude to her bandmates for their presence during the emotional moment.
