Ivaiporã: Electric scooter collision leaves teenager injured

A collision involving an electric scooter and a silver Chevrolet Classic occurred on Friday, August 28, at a busy intersection in Ivaiporã. The accident took place at the junction of Rua São Paulo and Avenida Paraíba (also identified as the corner of Av. Melvis Muchiutti and Av. Paraíba).

The Fire Department responded to the scene, attending to three individuals. A 61-year-old male driver of the automobile was uninjured. A 12-year-old passenger on the scooter was also unharmed. A 17-year-old adolescent, who was using the electric scooter, sustained minor injuries and was transported by emergency responders to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Police reported that the parties involved reached an agreement regarding material damages, and the vehicles were removed from the roadway. Local authorities are monitoring the case to clarify the exact dynamics of the impact and determine responsibilities.
