Ivaiporã motorcyclist hospitalized after collision with van

A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a collision with a van on Avenida Presidente Castelo Branco in the central region of Ivaiporã. The accident occurred at approximately 12:33 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30.

Firefighters provided initial medical assistance before transporting the motorcyclist for evaluation. The driver of the van, who remained at the scene and reported no injuries, claimed the motorcyclist failed to yield the right of way, causing the collision. A voluntary breathalyzer test administered to the van driver yielded a result of 0.00 mg/l of alcohol. Police documented the incident with a traffic accident report and released the vehicles following the investigation.
