Ivan Juric appointed head coach of Serie A club Monza

Monza announced that Ivan Juric will take charge of the first‑team from 1 July 2026, signing a contract that runs until 2028. He replaces Paolo Bianco, who led the club back to Serie A. The Croatian, born 25 August 1975 in Split (Spalato), played for Hajduk Split, Sevilla and other clubs before moving into coaching. His managerial résumé includes guiding Crotone to promotion, stints at Genoa, Hellas Verona, Torino, Roma, Southampton and Atalanta, and four Champions League appearances with the Bergamo side. Monza described him as “a coach of great charisma and experience, capable of bringing intensity and an aggressive, uncompromising style of play.” The appointment comes as Serie A clubs undergo a wave of coaching changes ahead of the new season.
