Ivan Juric Begins Tenure as Head Coach of Serie A Club Monza

Croatian coach Ivan Juric has been appointed head coach of Italian Serie A side Monza. The club officially announced Juric, who has previously managed teams such as Hellas Verona, Torino, Roma and Southampton, to lead the squad in the 2026‑27 season.

Monza opened its preseason with a first training session at the Silvio and Luigi Berlusconi Sports Centre. After two days of medical examinations and fitness tests, Juric began work focusing on physical preparation and tactical organization, emphasizing his trademark aggressive and intense playing style. The club aims to secure its place in Serie A and consolidate its position in the top flight.

Juric, born in Split in 1975, brings extensive experience from both his playing and coaching career, including a Champions League stint with Atalanta. Monza expects his expertise to help the team navigate the challenges of Italy’s premier league.
