Ivan Mamut set for transfer from Varaždin to Persija Jakarta

NK Varaždin striker Ivan Mamut is set to transfer to the Indonesian top-flight club Persija Jakarta. The deal is expected to generate approximately 500,000 euros for the Croatian club.

Mamut joined Varaždin last summer as a free agent and has become a key figure in their attack, recording 14 goals and six assists in 36 appearances. His departure follows a successful period where he helped the team secure a historic third-place finish in the Croatian league and qualify for European competitions.

If the transfer is finalized, Mamut will return to Asia, where he previously played for Terengganu in Malaysia. He would join several other Balkan players already at Persija Jakarta, including Denis Kolinger, Stjepan Lončar, and Kerim Memija.
