Ivan Rakitić bids emotional farewell to Split

Footballer Ivan Rakitić has emotionally bid farewell to the city of Split after spending two years there. During a gathering in the city center, Rakitić expressed his gratitude to the local community and friends, stating that his family felt like part of the local population.

Rakitić addressed his connection to the club Hajduk, noting that while he could not achieve certain goals during his time at Poljud, he remains available to the club and its supporters. He concluded his remarks by declaring, ‘Hajduk lives forever’.

The Rakitić family is relocating to Seville, Spain, where they are building a new home and will establish their primary residence. However, Rakitić emphasized that Split will remain a second home for them and that they intend to visit frequently.
