Ivan Rakitić Ends Tenure as Hajduk Split Technical Director

HNK Hajduk Split announced that Ivan Rakitić’s contract as technical director will expire on 30 June 2026, concluding his two‑year stint in the role. The club said his appointment followed the end of his playing career, during which he fulfilled a long‑standing wish to wear the Hajduk jersey and later contributed his international experience to the coaching staff.

In a statement the club praised Rakitić, noting that he “brought valuable overseas contacts and professional expertise, helping to build a stronger first‑team culture.” While his formal duties end, Rakitić will remain linked to the club as an ambassador, representing Hajduk in Croatia and abroad. The club thanked him for his “dedication and lasting impact on the Hajduk family.”
