Ivan Rakitić prioritizes family after leaving Hajduk Split

Former Croatian international Ivan Rakitić has stated that he is not in a hurry to accept new professional challenges following his departure from a directorial role at Hajduk Split. The 38-year-old has returned to Seville, Spain, where he previously played for Sevilla FC, to prioritize time with his family.

Rakitić revealed that while he has received several offers to launch his own project, he intends to focus on his roles as a husband and father for the time being. He noted that he remains connected to UEFA but wishes to wait for the right moment to pursue new business ventures to ensure they are executed in the best possible manner.

Reflecting on his time in Seville, where he won the Europa League in 2014 and 2023, Rakitić expressed his desire to be remembered as a person who identified deeply with the club and the city.
